Определить распространённость и структуру депрессивных симптомов у студентов Международного медицинского института Курского государственного медицинского университета.</p></sec><sec><title>Материалы и методы</title><p>Материалы и методы. В период с сентября по октябрь 2025 года проведено одномоментное исследование с участием 60 студентов в возрасте 18–25 лет. Для оценки уровня депрессии использовалась Шкала депрессии Бека, результаты обработаны методами описательной статистики.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Установлено, что лёгкие проявления депрессии (5–9 баллов) выявлены у 40 % респондентов, умеренные (10–14 баллов) у 23 %, выраженные и тяжёлые формы (15–27 баллов) у 22 %, тогда как лишь 15 % участников не имели значимых симптомов (0–4 балла). Наиболее частыми симптомами являлись снижение настроения, усталость, нарушение концентрации внимания и проблемы со сном. У 6,7 % опрошенных зафиксированы суицидальные мысли.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. Полученные данные свидетельствуют о высоком уровне эмоционального неблагополучия в студенческой среде и обосновывают необходимость внедрения программ психологической поддержки, развития стрессоустойчивости и профилактики депрессивных состояний в образовательных учреждениях.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Introduction</title><p>Introduction. Depressive disorders are a significant medical and social issue, particularly among young people, including medical students, due to high academic loads and stressful factors.</p></sec><sec><title>Objective</title><p>Objective. To determine the prevalence and structure of depressive symptoms among students of the International Medical Institute of Kursk State Medical University (IMI KSMU).</p></sec><sec><title>Materials and methods</title><p>Materials and methods. A cross-sectional study was conducted from September to October 2025 involving 60 students aged 18–25 years. The Beck Depression Inventory was used to assess the level of depression, and the data were processed using descriptive statistics.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. Mild depression (5–9 points) was found in 40 % of respondents, moderate (10–14 points) in 23 %, and severe or very severe forms (15–27 points) in 22 %, while only 15 % of participants had no significant symptoms (0–4 points). The most common symptoms were low mood, fatigue, difficulty concentrating, and sleep disturbances.
