<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>   The glymphatic system in patients with multiple sclerosis (MS) is an important object of research because it plays a key role in the removal of metabolites and maintenance of homeostasis in the central nervous system. In MS, which is characterized by demyelination and inflammation, the functions of the glymphatic system may be impaired, leading to the accumulation of toxic substances in the brain and aggravation of neurodegenerative processes. Understanding the relationship between theglymphatic system and MS will provide new horizons for potential therapies and may help improve the clinical condition of patients and slow disease progression.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>глимфатическая система</kwd><kwd>параваскулярное пространство</kwd><kwd>периваскулярное пространство</kwd><kwd>рассеянный склероз</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>glymphatic system</kwd><kwd>paravascular space</kwd><kwd>perivascular space</kwd><kwd>multiple sclerosis</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><funding-statement xml:lang="ru">Работа выполнялась без спонсорской поддержки</funding-statement><funding-statement xml:lang="en">The work was carried out without sponsorship</funding-statement></funding-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Mestre H, Mori Y, Nedergaard M.
